Here we go again.

Do you see me? Do you see what I'm doing right now? You don't. So I'm just going to tell you. I am NOT watching the World Cup. that is what I'm doing. The month of the men in our lives ranting at the TV, interspersed with swearing and tears. Four years ago, I had to put up with this man (far right) calling me from Germany to brag about the World Cup for every single day of the whole month.

And this year, it's worst. The man's right here in my living room harassing the poor TV. Since I can't kick him out of the house, I have to just buckle up for this rocky 1 month ride and figure out things to do to survive.

And if all else fails, I have no choice but to watch along side him. It's just that I'm sure I'd be looking at something else instead. Someone pass me the hottie list, now.

if you can't with the enemy..., then, join him, hehehe,I use to hate football too but now, i descovered that, once you understand the game, you really enjoy(I know, it's hard to believe)now my husband and I sat to watch the match together and he explains me and speack about all the players he is a real fan, I have learned a lot about names, temes etc, but the most important, he rather to stay at home with the kids and I watching the matches than go out with his friends, so for that side is a good idea to star show some interest in what is happening on the game ^-^

sassyangel - hahaha.I don't hate world cup thatttt much really but i sure hate the fact that i can't watch HBO at night anymore boohooo.

that's me - good point!haha.my husband has been trying to make me memorize the names of all the chelsea players for 3 years now. and all i can remember is Beckham. and he's not even in chelsea! hahaha.

quiyah - yeaa, it's just that he wasn't a husband back then, he was just a friend living in the UK, went to Germany and had plenty to shout about at his clearly uninterested female friend (me!) hahaha. uhhh tell me about it quiyah, i'm surprised to know he remembers my name when World Cup started.

aimee you are too funny lol.

Im the type of person who only likes to watch sports that I play...like track, field hockey, and rugby...everything else I consider beneath me lol its awful.

My husband doesnt obsess over the WC like I think most men, he will watch it if he has the opportunity but if he misses a game he wont have a heart attack haha. Heres a solution, like us poor folks just don't own a TV then no one can be mad cus they wont know what they have missed hahah lol

LoL!! darn lucky that it's just gonna be one month. but then again, i think all the euphoria and uproar are actually caused by the fact that it's only for a month.. just imagine if it's for 3 months or half a year..hahaha!!

aimie bahirah said...

is-za - uhh not a bad idea. maybe i should donate our TV away one of these days hehe
